Hardfacing Alloy Type 969-G (25lb Spool)

Weldtool hardfacing alloy type 969-G is a general-purpose alloy providing a balanced resistance to severe impact and moderate abrasion. Ideal for metal-to-metal friction and metal-to-earth abrasion applications. Common uses include mining parts, dredge components, extruder screws, and agricultural tillage tools. Recommended for use with 98% Ar / 2% O or 100% CO2 shielding gas. Comparable to Stoody 965, McKay 260-G, and Lincoln Lincore 55. Hardness: 55-60 HRC.
