Weldtool Nickel 82 is a Nickel base, Chromium, and Niobium alloy with a tensile strength of 80,000 PSI and elongation of 30%. It provides outstanding strength and toughness up to 2000°F. Features excellent fatigue strength to resist heat checking from alternating thermal cycles. Used for welding 600 and 800 type nickel base alloys, high strength welds on 9% nickel steels, and overlaying carbon steel. Ideal for hot shear applications, furnace parts, and forging industry dummy blocks.
