Description:
Aluminum 5654 meets AWS A5.10 specifications. This alloy is composed mainly of Magnesium, Chromium and Titanium. Alloy 5554 is a filler welding wire that is great to use to weld tanks for storage of Hydrogen Peroxide. Due to this alloy containing greater than 3% Magnesium, it is not recommended for applications of higher temperature because it is susceptible to stress corrosion.
