Description:
WT 70S-3 is a general purpose, mild steel wire used for both single and multipass applications. With the added silicon and manganese, WT 70S-3 can be welded over clean to light rust steel. It is flexible and is good for heavy-duty applications to lighter duty applications, and it has a smooth stable arc with a weld bead that ties in evenly with the sides giving a smooth appearance. It is typically used in pressure vessels, pipes, railcar construction, automotive frames, and high speed robotic and automatic welding applications.
