Description:
Stainless Steel type E308H is a covered electrode, austenitic stainless steel used for welding common types of austenitic stainless steel such as 301, 302, 304, and 305. 308H contains a range of 0.04% C to 0.08% C; this allows for higher tensile and creep strength at elevated temperatures. Primarily used in industrial applications requiring high heat resistance.
The main difference between E308H and 308L is in the carbon content. 308L contains a lower range of carbon, with 308H containing the higher range of carbon within the stainless steel 308 classification.
Available in multiple sizes and diameters. Also available in -15, -16, -17 coating.
