Description:
Aerospace Material Specification 4396 is magnesium alloy EZ33A; generally preferred for welding wrought base metals of similar composition. Typically used to weld wrought and cast base metals designed for elevated temperatures; however, welding this alloy with aluminum/magnesium alloys should be avoided due to cracking. Applications for this welding alloy include aerospace, electronics, automotives, nuclear facilities.
Melting Point: 1013°F-1184°F
Available in multiple sizes and diameters in spool and wire rods.
