Weldtool Hardfacing Alloy Type R-101 is a high chromium carbide alloy designed for components subject to severe abrasive wear and low to moderate impact. This self-shielding wire offers excellent wear resistance even at elevated temperatures above 1100°F. It can be run as an open-arc wire or with CO2 shielding. Ideal for two or three-layer protection on heavy industrial equipment. Comparable to Stoody 101-HC, McKay 255-0, and Lincoln Lincore 60.
