Weldtool aluminum 4043 is designed for the welding of 3003, 3004, 5052, 6061, 6063, and cast aluminum alloys. This alloy is significantly less sensitive to weld cracking than other aluminum filler metals. The higher silicon content reduces the melting point and increases fluidity, making it ideal for general purpose applications. Specifically recommended for welding heat-treatable base alloys in the 5000 and 6000 series.
